Tremaine Neverson a.k.a Trey Songz is expected in court in February for misdemeanor assault charges. On August 21 he had an album release party at a gentlemans club in Queens, NY. Around 4:15 am on the 22nd, Trey was involved in a so called altercation. He was apparently doing what most hip hop artists do and started to make it rain in the club. Some of the money hit a young lady in her left eye.(sources are unsure if she was a stripper or not). Trey Songs wasn’t arrested that night, in fact he wasn’t even aware of the so called assault until cops arrested him a month later. November 1st, he went to court and an order protection was issued.

Now I understand that getting hit in the eye can be a tad bit embarrasing, but I would have quickly gotten over it and picked up the money and kept the party going! I’m just saying Trey or anyone else can assault me that way all day long. I’ll keep my Visine handy for my slight eye injury. Now an order of protection is absoulutely uncalled for. Really? What is she scared of that he’ll find her and throw more money at her eye? This chick needs to get a life. I hope they throw this case out. Truly a waste of tax dollars.

My words of advice: to avoid assault charges in the booty club please make it rain below neck level.
