To all you smokers out there may we at Educated Insanity wish you a Happy 420! And for your smoking visual pleasure we bring to you a new video from your fellow smoker Snoop Dogg. Snoop brings to you your “Smoker’s Anthem.”
Technology has come a long way if you can bring one of Hip-Hop’s most beloved figures back from the dead for one night only. 2Pac joined Dre, Snoop Dogg, Warren G, 50 Cent and Eminem at the 2012 Coachella Music Festival last night. 2Pac-o-Gram perform fan favorites “Hail Mary” & “2 Of America’s Most Wanted” with Snoop and then disappeared in front of the packed audience.
We can’t get the long awaited “Detox” album from Dr. Dre but we can get this futuristic s**t?
Nate Dogg isn’t letting a little thing like death keep him away from Coachella this weekend — sources tell TMZ, the rapper will be making a very special guest appearance on stage … in the form of a HOLOGRAM.
Sources tell us, Dr. Dre didn’t want to leave Nate out of his Sunday performance — so he’s incorporating his old friend using hologram technology … the same technology that broadcast Mariah Carey’s image across Europe last year … at 5 simultaneous concerts.
We’re told an image of Nate will be projected onto the Coachella stage — alongside Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Warren G, and Daz Dillinger — to make it appear as though he’s actually performing on stage.
According to sources, Nate will perform several songs.
Well the wait is finally over. After wait seems like an eternity of setbacks TM103 (Thug Motivation) will finally be on iTunes and in stores December 20. now some of us have been waiting way too long so here is the “Leak Preview” of one of the most aniticpated albums of 2011.
The album kicks off with the perfectly titled “Waiting.” Jeezy lets the naysayers know he has been listening to everything they’ve the saying but he ain’t going nowhere anytime soon. One of the albums standout tracks is “OJ” featuring Fabolous & Jadakiss. Yes the title is one of your usual Hip-Hop metaphors about cocaine but Jeezy, Fab and Jada all go full in on the smooth instrumental.
Another must have on repeat track is the album’s current single “I Do” featuring Andre 3000 & Jay-Z. The 3 spit their vows over the the soulful beat but 3 Stacks steals the show with words like “
Her proud like her mother and ooohh momma’s sweet/So you just know that Juicy fruit ain’t gon’ fall too far from tree/So if we ever woop the woop/I want all that bleepty bleep/On this nasty carpet Bixby fresh on one knee?
Standout features from 2 Chainz, Snoop Dogg & Freddie Gibbs highlight the album. Even Jill Scott came through and spit a couple of hot bars for the thugs. The only joint I can’t rock with (and I know I’ll make a couple of people mad of it) is the Ne-Yo assisted “Leave You Alone” and Trick Daddy’s verse on “This One’s For You” but the majority of the album is just like we expected.
Welcome back Jeezy.
Verdict: Buy the album! It’s worth every penny.
