In what seems to be another clear cut and dry case of Republican foot in mouth disease yet another Republican has said something that overall has not set well with MANY individuals.

On February 18th, 2010, Virginia State Delegate Bob Marshall (R) spoke at a press conference against state funding for Planned Parenthood. Now he blasted Planned Parenthood for supporting a women’s right to choose, which has become a major debate especially in this election season, saying that God punishes women who have had abortions by giving them disabled children, here is a quote from the speech:

“The number of children who are born subsequent to a first abortion with handicaps has increased dramatically. Why? Because when you abort the first born of any, nature takes its vengeance on the subsequent children,”. oh it doesn’t end there he goes on to further say…

“In the Old Testament, the first born of every being, animal and man, was dedicated to the Lord. There’s a special punishment Christians would suggest.”

Marshall is also fighting against ……….health care reform (like you would honestly expect him to be for it), his belief is that “Obamacare” is trying to take “your soul.” Wait wait now the President’s healthcare plan is like an HMO Exorcism??? I’m confused.
