Two Hip-Hop moguls won’t be seeing the inside of a studio anytime soon.
The NY Daily News reports that Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke, was sentenced to 5 years yesterday in Manhattan Federal court for drug trafficking and conspiracy charges.
In October of 2010, Biggs was arrested for his participation in a drug operation that distributed over 100 kilos of marijuana along the East Coast.
Also after weeks of deliberation, a federal jury found former music exec, Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond guilty of cocaine distribution amongst other charges. He faces LIFE behind bars and, in due time, will be sentenced this year.
