With his debut Half Hour Comedy Central set to debut on Friday June 6th Jay Washington had the chance to talk to comedian Lil Rel on Educated Insanity. They spoke on the length of his career, the impact legendary comedy club owner Mary Lindsey has had on his career, and the personal bond with Sherri Shepard and king of comedy Cedric the Entertainer.

Jay Washington got the opportunity to sit down and chop it up with member’s of the Chicago Force Women’s Tackle (yup full tackle FULL EQUIPMENT) football team. Jay was joined in the studio by quarterback Sami Grisafe, Lineman (offensive & defensive) Taz Brooks, & DB/special teams Timesha Wharton.
Jay got to learn about each of the woman as far as their personas off the field, day jobs, love of the game and how they came to be a member of the Chicago Force. We even get to hear some of the veteran/rookie initiations that go on in professional sports.

Jay Washington & J.R. Bang got the opportunity to sit and talk with Fayth Caruso Pilates instructor at Sixpax Core Studios located in the South Loop of Chicago. Fayth talked about the difference between Yoga and Pilates, how the core of the body is by far the most important part to work on.

Jay & J.R. Chicago Comcast SportsNet reporter Susannah Collins is no longer with the station after a video of her having a Freudian slip up with viral on the internet this past Tuesday. Collins who was a part of the Comcast reporting team for the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday when she inadvertently said that the Blackhawks had a “tremendous amount of sex during the regular season.” The mistake went viral, landing everywhere from news web sites to the Tonight Show monologue, where it was highlighted Wednesday as the “Freudian Slip of the Day” by host Jay Leno.
Collins, who meant to say “success,” immediately corrected herself. (But lowkey, the sex part is probably true lets keep it real)
Jay Washington was able to be present at Kings Bowling Lounge in Rosemont, IL for the presentation of $10,000 donated by Kings Lounge to Chicago Bears Cornerback Charles Tillman and to his Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation. The donation was presented to Mr. Tillman by C.O.O (Chief Operating Officer) of Kings Bowl of America ,Frank Stryjewski. Also present was one of the families that are helped out by the Foundation in little 10 year old Emily and her mother Nadiya.

Jay Washington had the opportunity to get CHAMPIONS in the studio. By Champions the 2012 GFL (Gridiron Football League) Champions the Chicago Chaos. In the studio was the Vice President/Director of Marketing Rick Szemore as well as players Cornerback/Safety Louis Stallworth and Running Back Jesse Daniel (who showed up late).
They spoke on recruitment process, difference between their league, arena and indoor football. Motivation to play as well as expectations for the upcoming season.
