911 isn’t a joke or a sex line either.
One Florida man repeatedly dialed 911 and requested female deputies come to his house to have sex with him, FloriDUH reports.
It was such an emergency that Joshua Basso, 32, of Dover called the distress hotline seven times between 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 22 and 7:40 a.m. on Aug. 24 before cops did arrive at his home, according to a news release from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
The deputies threw the ‘cuffs on him — though probably not in the way he wanted — on Thursday and charged him with seven counts of making phony 911 calls. Basso allegedly confessed to misusing the system.
This isn’t the first time Basso has called 911 asking for “sexual gratification,” as the news release puts it. He looked for love from local authorities back in 2009, according to FloriDUH.
This most recent arrest is Basso’s 14th at the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, according to records.
