Jay-Z Announced “Made In America” Music Festival

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art made famous by Rocky, Jay-Z took the stage today and announced a two-day music festival that will take place over Labor Day weekend in the City of Brotherly Love.

“It’s going to be a great day in Philly,” Jay-Z said.

The festival will be held on Sept. 1 and Sept. 2 in Fairmount Park and feature nearly 30 acts on three stages. The acts will include rap, rock, R&B, Latin and dance performers “that embody the American spirit.” Jay-Z said that about 70 percent of the acts have been confirmed.

Tickets for the “Budweiser Made in America” festival which will benefit the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey go on sale May 23.
