This weekend hundreds of college football players lives will be changed forever. The NFL Draft is upon us and teams are looking for the best talent for their teams. The last pick in the draft is commonly known as “Mr. Irrelevant.” This pick doesn’t have the best chance to win a spot on a team but during the summer after the draft, the new Mr. Irrelevant and his family are invited to spend a week in Newport, California, where they enjoy a golf tournament, a regatta, a roast giving advice to the new draftee, and a ceremony awarding him the Lowsman Trophy.
