Diddy, Jay-Z Tops Forbers List Of Wealthiest In Hip-Hop

Once again Forbes Magazine releases their wealthiest hip-hop artist list and the music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs tops the list.The Bad Boy Records head netted $550 million last year, putting him one step closer to becoming hip-hop’s first billionaire.  Among the business collaborations fattening his pockets include his partnership with Ciroc vodka, his Sean Jean clothing line, and the Blue Fame marketing agency. Diddy will also have his own Cable Channel “Revolt” which will debut in 2013.

Coming in second place on the list was Jay who earned an impressive $460 million, due in part to his successful ‘Watch the Throne Tour,’ which will head overseas this summer.

Here is the list.

Sean “Diddy” Combs: 55o Million

Shawn “Jay-Z- Carter: 460 Million

Andre “Dr. Dre” Young: 270 Million

Bryan “Birdman” Williams: 125 Million
